Work Experience
Mr. Agarwal has substantial experience assisting U.S. attorneys with patent application preparation and prosecution before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). He has also supported patent strategy development, application drafting, and prosecution before the European Patent Office (EPO). His practice includes addressing complex technical issues and preparing detailed claim charts in support of successful litigation and negotiation efforts. In addition, Mr. Agarwal has worked extensively with Fortune 100 clients on invalidity and validity analyses, patentability searches, freedom-to-operate assessments, and patent landscape analyses.
His technical expertise spans a wide range of areas, including Standard Essential Patents (e.g., 3GPP), AV standards, IEEE technologies, Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), semiconductors, image and signal processing, and HVAC systems, among others. He has published research papers in engineering and scientific journals, and actively contributes to the intellectual property community through technical writings and as a speaker at IP-focused events.
Mr. Agarwal is an alumnus of the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology. He holds a Master’s degree in Systems and Control, a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication, and a law degree from the University of Delhi. He is a registered Patent Attorney in India, and is enrolled in various bar associations including the Delhi High Court Bar Association.
